Resounding Success at BAAFEx 2025

11 March 2025
SINGAPORE (11 March 2025) – The inaugural Business Aviation Asia Forum and Expo (BAAFEx), held at Singapore’s Changi Exhibition Centre from 4-6 March, was a resounding success and had higher traffic than expected, in excess of 2,000 attendees.

The show’s success has meant some exhibitors have already committed to the next edition of BAAFEx in 2027.

“The consensus among exhibitors, sponsors and trade visitors is that the inaugural show exceeded their expectations,” says Leck Chet Lam, Managing Director of show organizer, Experia Events.

“Exhibitors were impressed by the number of quality business meetings they had, resulting in sales opportunities,” says Leck.

BAAFEx 2025 attendees came from 56 countries and regions.

Asia Pacific is the world’s third largest market for business aviation with around 1,600 aircraft, according to the Aviation Week Intelligence Network, which has forecast there will be more than 1,900 business jets in the region by 2034. This represents annual compound growth of 2.1% as compared to the global average of 1.4%.

The region’s business aviation MRO sector is also expected to grow much faster than the rest of the world. Aviation Week Intelligence Network forecasts a compound annual growth rate, from 2025 to 2034, of 4.1% for Asia Pacific compared to a global average of 3.2%.

Asia Pacific is growing faster than the rest of the world,” says Leck, adding that business jet flying hours are far higher than pre-COVID. According to the Aviation Week Intelligence Network, flying hours are up 41% compared to 2019.

“Despite the immense size of Asia Pacific’s business aviation market, the region had no truly international business aviation show where companies could showcase their latest products and services to people from around the region. We saw a gap in the market for such a show,” says Leck.

There are four elements to BAAFEx: Exhibition, Expert Panels & Keynote Speakers, Aircraft Displays and Networking Opportunities.

At BAAFEx 2025, there were 12 conference sessions over three days, bringing together 46 speakers who shared their expertise, knowledge and insights with the audience. Many of the conference sessions were at near capacity.

The three-day event also generated enormous exposure for the exhibitors, and the business aviation industry as a whole, with more than 60 media outlets covering the show including major international newswires, international broadcasters as well as newspapers and publications from across the region and the globe.

“The enormous momentum created from BAAFEx 2025 means we anticipate that the next show in 2027 will be even bigger,” adds Leck.
